The first workshop “Breaking Barriers™ and Becoming Disability Aware“ is very much about building disability awareness and talking about the sensitivity essential to provide superior service.

Topics Covered:

  • Disability awareness and sensitivity. What is it and what is my role as a DSW?
  • The disability community, & and the impactful nature of their historical experience. We also take a moment and unveil the rich culture underneath.
