Amy is the lead and founder of DCCA & Dis Crew Apparel. She has been within the Disability Community for the past 17+ years, having a beautiful daughter Illyana, who has severe and profound complex disabilities. She also worked in the professional sector for many years. Amy started DCCA after working in a lead management role where she witnessed a lot of the root causes of systemic issues that have trickled down into the community itself. She was disgusted at the level of professionalism displayed. She built DCCA out of a desire to push for massive positive change within the disability industry. DCCA has started by helping as many Disability Providers as we can to make impactful industry-changing improvements within their service provision, knowledge of implementation, application, and client retention so they can become Game-Changers leading from the front. With the years of lived experience as a client of providers and years of expertise working on the other side of the coin professionally, she has deep insight into what it takes to become a leader in disability service provision.
Along with this, Amy is just a real down to earth, passionate human who has a geniune interest in helping our community grow and evolve to better provide for the beloved disability community.
